About me

Katrine Callander

I’m Danish, living in the UK since 2001. Embracing my autistic perspective as well as being a researcher, applied/environmental anthropologist, editor, scientific journalist, PR consultant and operations director.

I’m combining an MA in environmental anthropology and hopefully a PhD in Social Psychology at University of Kent with journalistic experience to achieve applied social and cross-cultural analysis across cultural, human behaviourist, environmental and neurodiversity.

Editorial experience includes trade media and online journalism. Current research explores autistic lived experiences, psychological vs social contrasts, liminality, precarity as well as human adaptations and resilience in mental health.

I’m multi-lingual, a traveller, reader, organiser, animal and nature lover, walker and constant pursuer of passions and special interests.
